I just got a laptop at home

I have been out of the 'downloading' loop for 2 years. Cant use the PC at work for YouTube or downloading music.

 

Can I ask 2 questions:

 

'How do I save YouTube clips to my PC' - I know there is a program I need, but thats all

 

'What are the best sites, (virusfree) programs for downloading songs.
