My nephew, our Tony's lad, was taken into hossie last night with suspected meningitis. They have tested as they initially thought it was the blood virus, but today they did a lumber puncture (sp?) to see if it's the brain version.

 

Anyway, the docs are confident he'll be ok but he's heavily doped up right now the poor lad but we can't visit him cos he's still in the 48 hour contagious period.

 

Tony told me that the docs don't think it's life threatening but FFS we deserve some good karma so here's hoping so.
