If it isn't Spurs fans trying to punch him, it's hammers trying to stone him

Chelsea team bus attacked by fans

Frank Lampard has revealed that a brick was thrown at the Chelsea team coach as it arrived at Upton Park for Wednesday's game against West Ham.

The Blues midfielder said: "The window got shattered. It made a huge bang. But that's football - it happens because there are emotions.

"There isn't too much point on dwelling on it as long as no-one gets hurt."

Emotions ran high as Lampard and team-mate Joe Cole returned to their relegation-threatened former club.

A Chelsea spokesman also played down the incident.

"It was a rock of some sort and it cracked a window of the coach. But none of the players were injured and none of them were sat by the window that was hit."

Chelsea won the match 4-1, thanks to a brace by Shaun Wright-Phillips and further goals from Salomon Kalou and Didier Drogba.

Lampard was booed by the home fans throughout.

He said: "It inspires me. It doesn't bother me, I enjoy it. It was a bit of banter and there are no hard feelings."

'a bit of banter'.

Didn't Lampard talk about how he hated it at west ham and how the fans hated him last year?

Yeah, he's put sly digs in at the West Ham fans several times since he left.

There was an interview in one of the papers over Easter where he came out with a comment on the lines of "I never really thought i'd made it as a footballer until i played for Chelsea, not even when I played for West Ham did I really think I had made it."

Which will have helped his cause enormously, obviously.

In the same interview he started going on about Polish builders! "My brother in law is a builder and can't get work because of the Polish builders". The stupid tw*t then said "Come to think of it I've got some Polish people working on one of my houses"

Might be positioning himself for a regular column in the Mail.

What about his tight c*nt of a brother-in-law who could give him half a f*cking mil in cash and not miss a penny? Christ what a c*nt.

Pity the brick didn't split his fat lisping head open the ring-kissing t***.

It only missed because there was no deflection off the glass.

No, twas a small piece of shingle, no bigger than a pea, and it grazed the exterior of the bus... I win
