He is very similar to Kuyt so I don't think Rafa would go for him but his work rate and team work is excellent. A quality player.

I think we have enough strikers who do their best work outside the area as it is.

 

He'd probably improve on our strikeforce if we did sign him though.

He's a cracking creative second striker really...scores some cracking goals but not really prolific. He'd be a good signing but we have a lot of 2nd strikers already in different forms.

He's better second striker than kuyt, great touch and control, bit of pace, can dribble and commit defenders and is very creative - if ppl cant see that then im afraid there blind, put him in a team with world class players and see the results.

 

This is exactly the sort of player we need

I rate Berbatov but why do you rate Kuyt lower than him? Kuyt's work rate and movement is so much better and in terms of goals scored in the premiership, its Berbatov 10 and Kuyt 9, not much difference is there?

why do people keep dreaming of replacing our best players with inferior ones

 

just cos you look good on highlight reels for spurs or even west ham, doesn't make you better than the guy you see toiling for 90 minutes in a red shirt.

 

Kuyt is similar to gerrard at the moment, in that he knows the game inside out, and is constantly doing too much work outside of his own remit, to make up for a lack of quality in other areas of the pitch.

 

He's undoubted world class, and with the addition of 2 more world class players this summer hopefully (alves/etoo please ) , then we'll see the player we've seen glimpses of so far.
