Pamplona (Spain) football team

I'm going to the bull run in Pamplona in July and was wondering whether Osasuna was their team?

 

Anyone know?

 

Wouldn't mind getting the local footy team's kit you see.

yep, Osasuna is Pamplona's team.

 

Osasuna are also the team who sacked Rafa after just 9 games!

 

Edited to add - one good thing tho, if you get their shirt - it's red!

He only won 1 of those 9 games. In 'A Season on the Brink' he says he actually had a good relationship with the Osasuna board but that "sometimes people get overwhelmed by circumstances". Sounds like the club panicked after their poor start.

They are a bit trigger happy with coaches in Spain at the best of times, so a young coach having a poor start to the season, and our Rafa was on a hiding to nothing.
