Nebraska Red Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 (edited) ... will we have a little less anti American sentiment on this site? can we also reset the spell check to allow Americanised spelling of certain words? eg color, defense, organize can we also start referring to our forwards as the offense and the back 4 as the D-line? the pitch will henceforth be known as the field, the kit will be the uniform and extra time will be over time. Rafa will be the Head Coach. it will be vital that we make our new owners (hopefully) as comfortable as possible in their new environment. also, no more preseason tours to Europe and the Far East, every year at least 4 games over here and the games to be rotated around the country. now where do I find that "tongue in cheek" smilie???? LFCJari37 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I will be looking forward to Stevie G referring to "Coach Benitez" in all forthcoming interviews. Also obviously playing positions will be reduced to just 3: The "Goalie"The DefenderThe StrikerOf course, a striker is anyone who plays in midfield or further forward.

LFCJari37 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 When do we start having "Liverpool Reds" printed on the club crest? Or are we a franchise now? Im confused
Crazy Horse Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 We're going to be renamed the Liverpool Meatpackers. And I for one will welcome it.

LFCJari37 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 We will need to sign a specialist Penalty Kicker for winning games after triple overtime 0-0 ties.

Shadow Moon Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 sorry, that would be a "road" game. and it is Liverpool at Newcastle. but you are getting it!! Nah, I'm not getting it. Lived in the States for 8 years and still got the jargon wrong. Is it going to be a turnover whenever a player in possession loses the ball? How many fumbles per game, on average, will a keeper such as David James commit? Will Reina be awarded passing yardage whenever he throws the football? Punting yardage whenever he takes a goalkick? Is Rafa head coach, defensive and offensive coordinator all-in-one? Will he start wearing a headset with Motorola logo on it, even though the headset itself is not manufactured by Motorola?
LFCJari37 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Will powerplays be introduced, with one team reduced to 8 men for 2 minutes after a yellow card? Will a linesman indicate offside by throwing a flag, rather than raising one?
