Nah, it's bizarre funny. I've been warming to him a bit since his Guardian articles, I have to admit.

 

He really annoyed me for a long, long time (his performancess for us and his whole pseudo-intellectual schtik) but I don't think I can hate anyone who consistently makes me laugh.

Just rewatch a few of his performances at the end of the 96/97 season, and trust me that hatred comes rushing back.

Unbelieveable - was gutted that year that they beat us 3-1 and James made a howler
