Anyone else think that after our basically useless start in the league that it's absolutely totally utterly outrageous that we're even towards the top half of the table, never mind within 9 points of winning the thing!?

 

We've really got nothing at all to lose - any pressure - if there is any is really fairly and squarely on Arsenal (To catch us), the Mancs and Chelsea (Who seem to be wobbling like a top at present)

 

We get to play the Mancs AND Arsenal at home and the ball really is in our court

 

Even if we can derail the Mancs to let the Chavs win and somehow get into second - that wouldn't be a bad result

 

In fact given some were confidentally predicting we wouldn't even be qualifying for Europe (Never mind the Champions League) just just really, really don't know with Football

 

The Mancs have to play in Europe as well which always seems to put them off with away games and Chelsea might be concentrating on that above everything else as well..

If we win at the weekend, it's definately on as I can sense a major slip up at the weekend by either the Mancs or Chelsea - they both have away games.

not only that, arsenal have a replay as well as the league cup. boringho have their drama's as well as cup games, as do the wancs.

 

it makes it all the more annoying that we stumbled early on. even 1 of those games would have made such a difference, or even away at blackburn.

 

what amazes me though, is that we have best home record! 3 goals against! fortress anfield is back, just in time for when we change stadiums....
