Camping (no not THAT kind) in Scotland.

[Case]

Never been to Scotland..., know bugger all about it.

 

We (My wife and two kids who by then will be 13 and 14 and the pooch ....) are planning on going there this summer for three weeks (The first three week holiday I've had in about 12 years).

 

What are the chances of finding a fairly quiet campsite within reach of some quality walking? Is the Cairngorms the place to go?
