Italian restaurant in central London

Need to book one tomorrow for the girlfriend's sister's birthday.Nothing too expensive,but decent food in the Leicester Square area.

Has anybody got any recommendations.I wanted the excellent Italian Graffiti but the girlfriend pooh-poohed that idea because it had a "smoky interior".
