'Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews'.

with Alan Hart: author, veteran journalist and BBC and ITN war correspondent.

Manchester PSC are proud to host Alan Hart, a veteran journalist, war correspondent and author who

is a renowned expert on the Middle East. Alan has worked in the area for almost 40 years and in the

course of his career he has been a correspondent for ITN?s News At Ten and BBC?s Panorama. In

this capacity he has had access at the highest diplomatic and political level, having interviewed

Golda Meir, Yasser Arafat and the former US President Jimmy Carter.

Today, Hart is a fierce critic of the pro-Israeli political consensus that dominates the mainstream

media?s coverage of the Middle East. Alan?s latest book ?Zionism: The Real Enemy of the

Jews?, is a meticulously researched indictment of the State of Israel. Its central claim is

that Zionism is a tragedy not only for Palestinians but also for Jews, and that Zionism represents a

fundamental threat to the peace and security of the whole region and the wider world. At this

meeting Alan will speak on the issues raised by his important book.
