d****ead BAA staff

I'm on my way home for my dad's funeral and, after 24 hours flying, I arrive at Heathrow for my transfer to Manchester. On arrival I am met with a humongous queue at security. After 20 minutes or so I started to get a little anxious, my inbound flight was slightly late and I hadn't factored in this sort of delay at security. Five more minutes pass and I decide to approach the BAA staff to ask to be fast-tracked through security as my flight was departing in less than 50 minutes.

"Oh no sir, you'll have plenty of time to check-in, don't worry" spouted the gormless, no-nothing t*** from BAA. I doubted his word as I looked at the (still huge) queue. Twenty minutes later I grab him again and he decides to fast-track me.

I dash through the check and gallop to the BMI check-in to be told that I'd missed check-in. Additionally, if I wanted to change to a later flight I had to pay 30 quid for the ticket change!

I asked the check-in chick why the security people weren't clued up and I just got a shoulder shrug and a look that said "don't blame me".

So my dad died, I have a s*** flight, I get f***ed about by airport staff , I'm gonna be late back to my mum's (on my dad's birthday) and, thanks to stricter security rules at the airport, my only outlet is this rant-room.

Excuse me, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH f*****S!!!!!!!!!!!!!
