"I know the presenter may try very hard but he constantly takes God's name in vain. As a Christian I find it all extremely offensive. God will not excuse him when his time comes."

Re: Coronation Street

"I was watching Corrie on Monday 28th August when I saw Charlie and Tracey have a glass of wine in glasses that they had just bought. You are meant to wash all glasses before using. I just sent this e-mail to make you aware of the situation and would like to know what you are planning to do about it."

"PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE write the Asian family OUT. The kid is a crap actress and really grates on everyone's nerves. Stop trying to be politically correct. Coronation Street does not need all these foreigners."

"I have watched Coronation Street for over 30 years and find the writers do not want smokers like me to watch. These so-called writers think it is great having a dog or a homo in a pub but not a smoker."

And finally... The greatest Duty Log Mental ever?

"You have been, over many years, using my private life and home to enhance and sell your show Coronation Street. This is being shouted at me late on in the evening. I believe this is illegal filming of me and my family and I shall be taking this matter further! Also I demand a fee for the use of this filming of around £2 billion for the chronic disregard of our human rights (no I'm not making this up!) as this amount will go some way to restoring our faith in Coronation Street."
