At that age, just being out will do. Pushchair/carrier and she'll love just being out and about watching the world.

 

Your council will also likely have play/mother-baby groups which you could crash. I've not had the pleasure yet as he's not really mobile as yet but will be soon so I'll need the additional distraction/energy waster. There's always the NCT but they can be a bit fundamentalist..

 

I've been sole parent now for (days) 2 months and have never walked so much in my life.
