I can't believe that nobody is picking Fowler! I'm convinced he'll be huge for us this year. He'll be fired up and fit. I thought he was coming along great at the ned of last season.

With Kuyt, Bellamy and Crouch he won't get as many games though.

Nobody's picking Fowler as we're using logic over sentiment. Robbie won't get enough games to be top scorer, though no doubt he'll chip in with his share.

 

I'll go for the new boy - he's a brilliant finisher and I think with Rafa having laid out so much will be number one choice. I fancy him to get a couple of hat-tricks against the lesser teams which would be the difference...

 

Kuyt is such a full on workhorse, battling, running, always thinking type of player, you can bet that many defenders will pick up cards playing against him - we could end up playing against 10 men even against the 'big' teams.

Gerrard for me but only by 2 or 3 with a decent spread of goals amongst the strikers....

quite fancy Bellamy to knock in around 15 in the league - Gerrard to do a similar amount if not more, and Kuyt a few more than that. Crouch maybe 15ish too.

Which would be a minimum of 61 league goals this season, assuming no-one else scores...sounds tough.
