[Leo No.8]

Just bought a few new clubs for the bag now I'm playing a bit more regularly again.

 

Invested in a Callaway X460 driver and 3-wood firstly. Tried the driver along with the Nike SQ, Taylor Made R7 and another Callaway. Found the X460 to be the best by a distance, they lie really nicely and seems quite forgiving when I didn't catch it right.

 

Also bought a Taylor Made black 60 degree lob wedge, which even after one round I love. On the last at West Derby yesterday was about 10 yards to the greenside bunker then the flag was about another 5 yards on. Opened the face right up and it just flicked it over and actually stopped a couple of yards before the flag.

 

Also got a 2-ball Odyssey putter which felt great, particularly with those shorter putts. The shape of it and the weight makes you feel like you can't miss.
