Debated not renewing my season tickets

I thought about how much better £1220 would sit in my pocket instead of theirs. I thought about what I could do with all that lovely free time and be able to decide what I want to do at weekends or whenever the hell the piper wants us to play. I thought of the endless motorway miles and traffic jams I could cheerfully miss. I thought about the rip-off food and drink around the country and how much better to eat from my own kitchen. I remembered the foghorn sat next to me at Sunderland last season who's first game it was and who shouted and screamed with the most awful voice for the full 90 minutes. I thought of all the knob-heads from Happy Scalls getting up to mischief and their stupid songs. I thought of all that and then I remembered the happiness those lads in red gave me and that magnificent and deserved lap of honour at the last game. That was all it took. The good far outweighs the bad and so, sorry all you hoping for non take-ups this season but my two won't be amongst 'em! Waited 'till the last minute, obviously and signed on again for another season of roller-coaster emotion! And this time, there'll be a big shiney league title at the end of it
