As long as we win, I couldn't care less. Still, for the neutrals, a Liverpool final is a guaranteed spectacle. I have long since decided to watch all really important games with my Canadian mate because his dumb questions and general wandering from the topic of football stop me from getting too much into the game and having a heart attack.

 

He wasn't there for Istanbul, and it nearly killed me. On the other hand, I swear the b*****d is some kind of lucky charm. The first football game he saw live was when we went to Munich together to see Germany vs England in 2001. I can't remember my team having lost a game that he was watching with me.
