I was on holiday when I signed but yep, makes sense what you say and I hope you're right. The petition has got some decent press coverage up to now so there should be no excuses.

Slightly disappointing from my perspective is that the King has over 200,000 followers on Twitter and yet only a quarter of those have as yet signed the petition. Hopefully they will do so sooner rather than later.

Completely agree, I really don't think he'll go in this window. Would not surprise me if he did an about turn and stated his intention to stay after a few weeks.
