Correct me if I'm wrong but a sizeable chunk of the revenue comes from season tickets. Ergo, if everyone stayed away it wouldn't make that much difference to the gate. Season tickets are paid for before the start of the season. Don't think G and H would care a toss, frankly. Now if the boycott was to take place next summer when the ST's are due again, that's a different matter entirely......!

Agree. However, we are not likely to find out before November and by that time, Manyoo, Chelski etc could be out of sight going by Sunday's performance. And even then, it's possible Aquilani will get injured again a few weeks later which is what used to happen at Rome. Think we have to concentrate on what we have and if Aquilani comes up trumps that'll be a real bonus. Of course, if Paisley or Shankly were in control, Johnson would have been turned into an attacking midfielder by now!

In 2009 we have received around £52 million from the likes of Alonso, Keane, Arbeloa, Leto etc etc. In the same period we have bought about £36 million - Johnson and Aquilani. In my book that makes a profit of £16 million. Has most of it gone towards the Yanks £60 million they had to cough up? If that's the case, no wonder Rafa only has 1.5 million!
