well i agree that i shouldn't think of first elevens. but i'm presuming if we bought him he would play in the first team, along with babel? but the position you mentioned is where babel plays. so if downing plays on the left, where will babel play. on the right? if he plays on the right, where does stevie g play? behind torres? i doubt it, thats where keane will play. in the middle of park? taking him away from his partnership from torres and making him responsible for tracking back and hindering his performance further up the pitch where he can score goals?????

but where are we going to play him?. rafa has made it clear that when babel comes back he's straight into the team and i'm presuming on the left hand side. so is this a change in formation and tactics?
