What a silly question. It will be remembered as a very very good cup final. I did not start this thread, I just posted what I thought changed the game. Gerrard, Cisse, half the team were suffering cramps or tired. It was the last minute and the game looked over. Liverpool looked out of it. I thought the defender was a bit nieve to kick it out where he did at that time. He should have hoofed it well into your half and let your lot kick it out so Cisse could be treated. Tbh I doubt they would have kicked it out though. As pointed out the ball was thrown right at the defender and the injured Cisse made sure he was not going to let it run out. The ball came at him at such an awkward heigt that he could not get much of a hoof at it. The rest they say is history. Like I said it was a fantastic goal as well as a very very good final. I enjoyed it, although I was not happy with the result. Question. Am I only supposed to write praise here? or am I allowed an opinion?
