I don't think, at any stage, anyone would have offered £30m for Baines, and I don't think anyone would pay £18m for Coleman I know people are paying for promise, but still If you like. You want Lukaku? I'm not sure about him myself And we could have had Barry for nothing if we wanted

I think they have good players. I just doubt whether so many of them are what we need to push on To put it into context, if Man U bought Baines, and Spurs bought Coleman, I would struggle to find 4 Everton players I'd take. And the table suggests they are a much better team than Southampton

I wouldn't say that is the case with Southampton though. There guys on the fringes of the team (Cork, Wanayama etc.) looked good players to me
