I believe it did and I'd imagine the manager thought that also, he probably would have been shipped out otherwise.

Not even close.......the potential remained the same throughout, can't wait to see him step up another level or two this season

Taking £8m for Sterling at any point would have been madness, he clearly had off field issues that were disrupting his development. Luckily for us and Sterling he has a brilliant manager guiding him to where he is now and hopefully much further.

Went for a run around there yesterday, it was a bit surreal seeing all that space. Did feel a bit 'at bloody last' about it and can't wait to see the end product

Were you out with Gravy last night? Continuo has looked very sharp pre season and is only going to get better

That Chelsea game when we needed something and that something was Aspas or Moses. It was like that for most of the season and we were constantly relying on Suarez to come up with the answer, ok we no longer have that but we are definitely stronger as a squad IMO.

What has how tall a player is got to do with anything? Of course you wouldn't want a team of -6ft players but if rossiter has the ability then surely his height won't stop him having a good career with us.
