  5. Cheers. 3 of theirs could easily have gone last night, was a bit surprised Ivanovic stayed on.
  6. Lucky he didn't break his leg clean in half, absolutely disgusting challenge. Would a ban carry on in to next season?
  7. Very odd that, thought Lampard might get it.
  8. Didn't look like his legs were going to me, far from it in fact. He had to drop deep to try and make something of the game, Henderson was anonymous and Spearing would have been too but for two almighty f*** ups.
  9. Leaving Castle Cary at 9.40 can't wait for this, couple of beers before to settle the nerves I think
  10. I thought it was a bit odd when Jockeys started wearing them, at least they are smacking the deck at 35mph or getting a smack in the face off half a ton of horse. Anyway, couple of great goals there. Modric is class and Spurs won't want to be losing him this Summer
  11. Are you saying it should become the norm for players to wear gumshields? Think it is a bit ott myself
  12. Is Sandro wearing a gumshield? Absolutely sure he is
  13. It was a Cabaye header that went in off Agger's shoulder
  14. did Newc score, don't recall them scoring
  15. I was at the Newc game and was supposed to go the Bolton game, think we won both quite easily
  16. Aurelio is class no doubt but, that is just garbage what you have written about Enrique.
  17. Henry Winter getting in Woy's excuses early, and England have only 3 world class players, Hart, A Cole and Rooney. Guess Winter is saying Gerrard is not world class. Really can't wait for this tournament now, was not bothered either way before but now I just think it will be funny. http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_9717000/9717281.stm
  18. Well all in all it went pretty well. Not sure what our final total is just yet but I do know that we got a lot of positive publicity for the cause and if it helps a little I will be happy. Earle Jackson has done a really good job of how the run went from start to finish inc our presentation at half time at the WBA game on our website as has Amo Taggar http://hillsborough-anfieldrun.co.uk/category/blog/ . It was an amazing experience for me from start to finish and I have been very lucky to have met some amazing people along the way, the team I put together were a real credit to themselves and it is my hope we can do good things together in future. That first 30 miles over the Pennines was unreal and I can honestly say I would run that everyday, stunning. The less said about the 2nd day the better and the last day was amazing for the whole team. I hope to do this again next year but probably add the extra miles to make 96. I hope we did them proud
  19. Will get to it later, we have had a mad week really so need to put it all together
  20. Bruce Grobbelaar made a nice donation today and also gave a few nice words of encouragement as well as a statement of support to the team. I am hoping before we set off on Thursday morning we will have flown through the £7,000 mark. More than any amount of money though I had a friend on facebook write this to me yesterday. "Until you started talking about doing this run, all i knew about what happend that day was (sorry to say) that many liverpool fans were crushed and died that day. I'm not a footie fan and was quite young when that happened, but you've certainly opened my eyes to it and have made me read more and understand it better!! So thankyou xx" I hope we can reach a lot more people but it did make me happy.
  21. A brilliant piece by Georgina Turner for http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/soccer/news/20120406/hillsborough/
  22. Just one week to go now and everything is in place. You can support us through this run On Facebook http://www.facebook.com/hillsboroughanfieldrun On Twitter https://twitter.com/#!/HillsboroughAnf or by visiting our website http://hillsborough-anfieldrun.co.uk/how-to-donate/ any support is appreciated
  23. Got this from Andy Burnham yesterday, amazing support for the run from so many people. 23 years after Hillsborough, the fight goes on for truth and justice for the 96 victims, their families and fellow supporters. The families have faced the hardest road imaginable. What has sustained them in the darkest times is the support and solidarity of football supporters everywhere, and the determination of many in Liverpool that their loved-ones will not be forgotten. The Hillsborough-Anfield Run will again link the cities of Sheffield and Liverpool in remembrance of those who died and appreciation of those who tried to help. The incredible personal sacrifice from those taking part in the run will help keep Hillsborough at the front of people's minds at a crucial moment. There is now some cause for hope that the full truth will finally be told about one of the greatest injustices in this country in the 20th century. But, until then, the fight goes on and I hope people will support this important cause. RT HON ANDY BURNHAM MP
  24. How will he beat that if they get to the final? Not that they will like.
  25. The several options we have doesn't fill me with confidence, especially when they feel they have to include Kuyt. When did he last play in cm?
