The goals will come when the confidence has returned in their ability to play football. We look really panicky in possession and make far to many mistakes and that IMO is why we are s**** at the moment. We can bang on about tactics, rotation and late substitutions all we want until they believe in themselves.

It's not about conceding goals it's the way the team start their attacks and the the kind of passing that our attacking players need to make the most of their skills. We will never see the best of Gerrard, Crouch ( arsenal game last season if you want proof), Babel, Lucas, Benayoun, Torres, Alonso and to a lesser extent Kuyt if the defence keep hoofing the ball. IMO it would also breed confidence in the squad if we kept the passing simple and accurate. PASS AND MOVE (IT'S THE LIVERPOOL GROOVE)

I don't need any help but thanks for the offer. It's not that Carra doesn't have options it's that he's become far to panicky in possession and it's effecting the way the midfield builds the attacks for our strikers

but if the defence stopped hoofing at gave Gerrard the ball to feet and let him do what he does best we would create alot more chances. If you don't believe me watch the Arsenal game from last season when we kept the ball on the ground at passed it about and we looked a proper team. We revert to this long ball crap and we look like a championship team that couldn't beat barnsley.. oh

I'd wager with anyone that are football would improve dramatically if Carra and Sami stopped treating the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Benayoun, Babel, Lucas, Crouch and Alonso as greyhounds in football boots. Benitez's footballing philosophy is built on the defence being able to bring out the ball and get the ball to midfielders who can pass it about and retain possesion. The only think that the constant hoofing is achieving is reinforcing the sense of panic in the side when they are playing.

Could you work in environment where your boss is position is constantly questioned in the press? With the American's causing havoc and Benitez not getting in Paco's replacement in sharpish I can see the players being worried about the boss long term future.

Are you certain of what direction this club is going in? Will Benitez be here? What will happen to the backroom staff? Will there be a player exodus? I think these questions are playing on everyone's minds including the manager, player's and fans and this is being reflected on the pitch.

Crouch is USELESS and should have been sold in the summer. He continually destroys are attacking play with his ponderous touch and in turn slowing down the momentum of Torres and Gerrard when we have a promising attack. When he flings out a limb and it bounces off him IT DOESN'T constitute a flick-on

How are they supposed to be creative when Carra and Sami are continually hoofing it up to the strikers.

Carra and Hyypia's hoofing of the ball is one of the main reasons why we are playing so poorly. Our two best strikers thrive off the ball being played to feet and by continually by-passing the midfield they just perpetuate the feeling of panic in the side when we are playing. I want Carra to be benched for a while not leading the f***ing team.

The problem is Gerrard is continually made to look a c*** by Carra and Hyypia. They continually by pass our midfield by hoofing it up the pitch. He will continue to look ineffective and sulky until 1 or both are dropped

Ignore
