I seem to have been watching another game than you guys, I thought he was second best only to Sakho of our lot. Created the Lallana chance, and was our leader in the second half (interceptions/tackles and offensive runs - pure will to do something).

I would start him every game till the end of the season. I'm so fed up with having to see Lucas every game, what a non-entity of a player. Aquilani really put Stevie to shame when he came on...

I am not one of the major detractors of Lucas' ability but yesterday's perfomance just wasn't good enough. A midfielder playing for Liverpool Football Club has to able to pass in the final third. He is often slow to react and his passing range just isn't good enough especially if he is to play with Mascherano. I also never want to see him near a set-piece in my life.
