Who knows, maybe even with Kenny's backing. He couldn't find anyone but himself to replace Benitez, so perhaps Kenny would give Rafa the chance again and tell us that's what he thinks. Kenny had unfinished business in the immediate years after he left in 91, but never got another go til our lowest point since then. The man who left in 09 has unfinished business now. More so if Kenny's not quite what we'd hoped he'd be this time around, and if FSG aren't going to back him to sort it out. And Benitez has already taken squads much worse than ours now to better things. Painful, but honest, so be nice...

Well if it is it will harm us and I would hope Kenny would not do that.

Blerto, again, brilliant. Personal insults as always because I dont agree with you. You are deluded, if you dont believe that Kenny has looked out of touch this season. And I am not talking about Brendan f***ing Rogers. You dont think Liverpool FC arent still a huge pull to the worlds top managers? Klopp would come here if we went after him, we are Liverpool FC, 5 times champions of Europe, currently languishing in mid table, someone has a chance of making themselves a legend. And yes, we did need Kenny, and he came in and rescued us, and we are all grateful, but he has made poor signings, poor tactics, poor judgements in the media and strange team selections. If it was anyone else it wouldnt be up for debate. If its true the owners want him out and he wont budge, it will just damage us more.

But if we are looking at Martinez, then we might as well give up...

Im 35, I was at Wembley in 86, 88, 89 etc, im not some mug . I love Kenny. We need someone to take a grab a hold of this club and take it forward for the next 5 years, I dont believe Kenny is up to it, never have. He looks tired and at times ludicrous in this modern game and its sad. Its go now amicably and as a hero or get sacked in December if we arent off to an absolute belter next year. Its what I think, doesent make me any less a fan, its sad that we are in this situation.
