On the other hand - there has been no denial from the Milan or the player himself. Hence it may well have been true, - though maybe outdated - i.e. he's chosen somewhere else to go because of the lack of movement from us.

1. Gerrard 2. Torres 3. Hyypia

In Castellano (Main Spanish) 'Mas-ker-an-o' would be correct, however since the South American dialect is varied..... The S may be silent or thickly pronounced. Either way is better than the Ma-sh-erano that I've heard too many times. Not that it's anyone's fault - just that it's never been made clear and the the comentators are useless at getting people's names right. i.e. David Pleat

1. Torres 2. Finnan 3. Kewell

1. Gerrard 2. Kewell 3. Lucas

1. Voronin 2. Torres 3. Mascherano

1. Benayoun 2. Mascherano 3. Voronin I feel really sorry for Arbeloa - he was excellent but he where to fit him in?

You are Yoda and I claim my 5 pounds.

Woohoo! If that line-up is correct I've got a perfect 11 for fantasyrafa for the first time! Big decision for Crouch coming back - I hope Rafa tells him to be the front man though playing Torres behind - because the other way just doesn't work - Crouch is too slow. Babbel on the left though I assume - not his best, but Benni is the only one else I would put there.... Who is on the bench? Kewell?

By the quotes I've seen - just a broken leg

1. Reina 2. Carragher 3. Finnan

Personally I believe that he would have given us a different option a la Kuyt/Voro/Crouch in terms of his play. However in terms of a squad, we already have 4 +1 (Babbel) who all offer something different, Rafa has his plans and his formations - that possibly he thought Tevez didn't fit into it.

Well said, agree with everything there. Tevez would have been an excellent addition but Rafa obviously didn't move for him - either because of legal complications, or he felt that we have a certain way of playing that Tevez might not contribute, certainly not more than what we already have IMO.

I have a bad feeling about this....

Quite agree about Didi and Owen. However I think Berger (when he was fit - early on) would displace all left wingers we have used in the last 3 years. Including HK - maybe only because HK is almost permanently injured, but still replace him nonetheless. Though I think all three would have made the squad.

Excellent! That means he saves penalties! Especially since Pepe can't save them anymore.....

I beg to disagree. It's 4 times better.

Kaizer uses statistics as a drunken man uses a lamp post. For support, rather than illumination. While everyone else just p*** on it

11-2 with Paddy Power Did that a week after Athens. Just had a feeling, after hearing Rafa's comments, that this year would be our year.

1. Arbeloa 2. Torres 3. Pennant

On loan with an option to buy. I wish they would just buy him already.

Benni? to replace Garcia going?

Maybe GH is just coming back as a European scout? Works away from anfield and in only an advisory capacity, recommending players. Or maybe he will help with the academy?

Best thing from this last group is to avoid long distance trips. Come on Gers!

I'm hoping for Stuttgart. Got mates there, can make it a small break and have some fun!
