Anybody got any good links to information on all this? It was all very bizarre but I 've never come across anything that strung it all together, so many rumours were flying around etc at the time and after it.

Cheers, I was thinking that should be the case but was really taken aback by the amount of tout sites that came up on google offering to sell me tickets for ?140-170 for R. Sociedad V Gettafe . Its not exactly El Classico, so I started wondering if tickets were hard to come by in general.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on where/how to buy tickets for Real Sociedad home games in San Sebastian. My Spanish is not good so I had no joy on their site and when I google I just get page after page of tout sites. Given the dreadful season they are having I presume you should be able to pick up tickets on general sale with the probable exception of Barca or Real Madrid at home. Any other general info into doing the tourist thing in San Sebastian would be welcome too

In Rafa we trust. He is the manager. I can not think of anyone other than him I would want in control at LFC at the moment. He will get things right but it will be painfull for us all on and off the pitch.

I think the last one is a stroke of genius, the sight of those thoughtfully designed pennants being exchanged between Steve G and Neville before kick off will definitely take the edge off my nerves and remind me it's just a sporting competition at the end of the day

I am not discounting Ballack, just trying to be opptimistic . My point is simply that I think it will be harder for Mourinho and Kenyon to get the mix right. If they do then they certainly have the resources to win everything but its never quite so simple.

Looks like Sheva is on the way too. But it ain't "Top Trumps" its football. You still have to do it on the pitch. Rafa won two league titles against the supposed galacticos. I think wage madness, competition for places and the general jealousy of these two genuine "world" superstars being in the camp which will accompany both Ballack and Sheva will stir things up nicely in the background. Not to mention the fact that Mourhino will be under pressure to play with a more adventurous style and is already looking very tetchy. Could be fun!
