6 of those goals were against two of the poorest teams EVER to grace Anfield. If he was any good, lets be honest, we'd be screaming for him to start. The silence is however deafening ... IMO, he's yet another lightweight squad player, who brought nothing to the club, which was in anyway an improvement on what was already here.

Wes Brown is a different story, at centre back, he would be a last resort (just ahead of Jack Hobbs) However, every time I've watched him at right back, he's been very, very solid indeed. He gets stuck into the left sided player early, and also gets forwards quite well. It probably won't happen, but 'd sign him I seem to remember a piccy of him as a kid in our old silver kit ...
