Going forward, Ginger is good. In the air, he is decent for a fullback. HOWEVER, IMO, his positioning, standing-off players, and aversion to tackling, is often camouflaged by others (e.g. SAMI). His flexibility is a massive attribute. For me, IF/WHEN we sign a new left-back, he will remain an excellent Squad player.

Have to agree, HOWEUER, it will be interesting if they make a good offer I wonder, given an ultimatum, who people would least like to lose GARCIA or CROUCH (I'd pay for the taxi ) ?

He is prepared to try the imaginative pass. This will always leave him open to criticism, as this often means he loses the ball. It's often black and white: FRUSTRATION/ELATION. Some can accept it, others go bald I admire him

Agree. Left-Back is a position where DEFENSIVELY there is lots of room for improvement. Despite having the shirt for the best part of 5 YEARS, Ginger is not the answer. Dirk doesn't have the best first touch. He missed 4 or 5 great chances:( but he gave Fulham loads to worry about all game, and was noticeably more evident inside the box. Oh, and he gave 100%

8 for Pennant (he was decent) is a bit kneejerk, still quite a few examples of lack of bottle, he didn't have anything to do with any of the goals ...
