We shouldn’t underestimate the loss of Trent and Diaz. They were vital to how we played last season. Macca is not fit. Him and Grav absolutely locked down midfield last year. Trying to integrate Wirtz in a new set up that is unbalanced is just not working in the slightest.

Another game where Mo was barely involved too.

So many abject performances it’s difficult to know where to start. First half we looked so unbalanced. There was nothing down out left at all. Was Wirtz meant to be covering there? Who knows. Manager has to take the blame for that. Brutal display by Konate. Second half we come into it then bring on Jones, who was diabolical and Frimpong, who was somehow far worse. Lots of question marks over the summer signings. Wirtz delivers nothing. Clearly talented but nowhere near enough from him so far. Kerkez looks really limited. Frimpong looks pretty s***e. Isak showed glimpses second half. Ekitike looks great and that f***ing red card looks even more stupid today.
