King Kenny has a huge dilemma, whether to start or bench carroll vs spurs. Both Stevie and Luis should reurn to the starting 11. Would be interestin to see whether he sticks with big Andy --------------------Reina--------------- Johnson--------Skretl---Agger------Enrique Gerrard-------Spearing----Adam----Downing ------------Suarez---------------------------- ---------------------Carroll----------------- or --------------------Reina--------------- Johnson--------Skretl---Agger------Enrique -----------------------Spearing------------------- --------------Gerrard-------Adam--------------- Suarez------------------------------------Downing -----------------Carroll----------------------- or --------------------Reina-------------------------- Johnson--------Skretl---Agger------Enrique Kuyt-------------Spearing------Adam-----------Downing ---------------------------Gerrard--------------------------- --------------------------Suarez------------------------- Considering Spurs threat form the flanks in the form of Bale and lennon, safest formation would be the last one which is to play Kuyt and leave Carrol out. However if i were Kenny, taking into account the Anfield factor, i would be tempted to go with first one, which although more attacking is still a balanced side. Bale may be weary of Gerrard' s threat on the right. Gerrard can whip early dangerous crosses from the right for Big Andy to score.

defoe great coup. cant see why spurs would let him go. they only have adebayor, defoe and the misfiring pavlyuchenko upfront

Did we effectively buy joao carlos texeira???? remmember reading we were close, but there was nothing on the offish as far as i know

tevez has played for both united and city...he 's certainly physically unfit and would need a considerable amount of time to regain his fitness, apart from the fact to get to know team mates and settle in liverpool. he s a mercenary ex-manc t*** who could disrupt the obvious bond there is between oor players at the moment. There is not enough time for him to be meaningful to us for the rest of this season. i dont think it would be a wise move from commoli and kenny.

I would love us to delve in the transfer market with the sole aim of buying top quality young talent like marin or hazard.
-
David Texeira, Jelavic, Isla... Granero is top of the bunch.
-
How i wish he s a couple of years younger...
-
Best game which will kickstart his season. he s settled in now and should be able to build on yesterday s form.
-
He will start vs manure. Unfortunately Bellers knees cant handle that much games in a row. Carroll should take one of his last chances offered to him before King Luis returns.

it still on! we just made it harder for ourselves. instead of beating teams like bolton and stoke, we now have to beat team like spurs, scum and blues****, which if we want it enough we are very much capable to do...

Daily mail reporting we have opened talks for granero. Granero would be a great coup...he can add that creative spark in midfield...he s quality.
-
Gerrard Bellamy Skretl Agger deserves a mention as well

Superb! i just hate to hear any type of criticsm from a liverpool fan, vs our captain marvellous in any shape or form. for everythin he s done for this football club throughout his brilliant career, the fact he chose to stay with liverpool fc, he is one player who is EXEMPT from criticism. We adore you SG!

A thing i noticed as well is that, AC is not bullying defenders as he used to do in the past. At newcastle no defender could get near him. that was a great asset ge possesed. I think his major problem is confidence and the huge price tag thrown at him, if you watch some of his newcastle goals, you ll notice he was much better at everything, heck he even socred a goal where he rounded the opposing Goal keeper...he just needs to hit a lucky streak and i think andy carroll will finally become a member of LFC first 11.

I do not think that the fa cant be taken to court especially if a constitutional court case is filed on breach of human rights, on the basis of right of fair hearing or abuse of power in a dominant market based on unfair competitiom in the ecj

i think if we play this formation carroll would be awesome 4-3-3 Downing/Bellers-----------Carroll----------------------Suarez ---------Adam--------------Gerrard/Lucas------------Henderson/Gerrard -----------------Usual back 4----------- -------------Pepe-------------

Agree ref was s****. Agree we missed lucas balance in the middle. Disagree that carrol was s****. Carrol played very well with his back to goal, was not really given many chances to score. Suarez was very good. Hr scored a perfectly wonderful legitimate goal. Thought bellers played below jis usual standard. Maxi albeit his easy goal, didnt have a good game vs chelsea. Twas one of those s***ty days were everything goes vs u. Hopefully lady luck and refs will soon turn on our side.
-
cant wait..lets stuff these s***ty cottagers... hoping for carroll to be on the score-sheet in some way, shape or form. spearing to be boss! bellers to take part.
-
wasnt aware of that...unless he s crocked would still be worth a try....would still be diffcult for him to get a game if fit, with last summer arrivals, fabregas and sanchez. and there many wee-uns making the grade...alcantara and pedro etc.
-
i would start with carroll and suarez for this. henderson and downing on the flanks ans jay and adam in the middle... 4-4-2
-
Barca s Ibrahim Affelay would be worth a try. He cant get a game for barca but he s a very good player who can play on either flank as well as in the hole. De Rossi would be a terrific coup.

Carra was a great defender. he was never blessed with pace or technique but his love for the game, club and pure grit made him succeed at this level. However i do think that nowadays he is one of the weakest links in our team. Because of him, we are being forced to defend too deep, thus leading the opposition team into the danger where it s easier for them to nick a goal. Team will lose its shape and compactness which makes it more difficult for us to attack and create chances. Albeit this i cant see kenny reducing him to a squad player, we cant rely on agger, skretl is prone to mistakes, coates is too soon. Ironically carra is the player who scored the most number of times against Liverpool since the premiership started. he leads the pach with 6 goals, followed by shearer with 5 goals
