From The Guardian: A very well-crafted goal, which began with Finnan's ball up to Kuyt. The big Dutchman held off Alex and played a crafty pass round the corner for Gerrard to run onto and slot past Gomes as the keeper half-dived the wrong way. It was a cool finish and evidence that perhaps centre-midfield is Gerrard's best position.
