I'm not saying I'm obsession about it at all but I do have a spreadsheet for tracking points totals, PPG, remaining points, how many we can drop to hit a target etc. Every time I look at the spreadsheet it makes me think we'll win it, so when my resolve wavers (or when Arsenal win a game) I have a look at the data.

It gets interesting when you start to play with how many points and results it takes to win the title. If we say it'll take 88 points to win it that means results like: AFC: Wins 11 / Draws 2 / Losses 0 2.69 PPG LFC: Wins 8 / Draws 4 / Losses 1 2.15 PPG If we say it'll take 85 points to win it that means something like: AFC: Wins 10 / Draws 2 / Losses 1 2.46 PPG LFC: Wins 7 / Draws 4 / Losses 2 1.92 PPG Unless Arsenal are absolutely outstanding then we could have more scope for dropped points than we think.

Two very serious hamstring injuries would suggest too much stress on players, too many games obviously.

They had two years with none, that means more miles/stress on the players. They're also now in that spiral where they have one area of the pitch with massive injuries making the others players that play there are put under more stress.

Amazing how many games they've thrown away, something important is broken at that club.
