Just to be clear on all this, loads of fans dont like him/havent forgiven him for the Chelsea stuff etc...I havent got an issue with any of that, its fair enough. Its this revisionism from some that he made it all about him and was a walking circus, let the team down, was in some way responsible for the team underachieving, msssed too many important games through injury, had a track record of slipping/f***ing up as if its deliberate that I take umbrage with. I understand opinions and feelings but all that is just wrong, not an opinion, just people being pricks and letting the fact they 'dont like him' cloud judgements. I am a fan and I dont think he has been holier than thou throughout but some of the total s*** talked on this thread has genuinely surprised me.
