  1. I hope he totally ignores all thsoe messgaes, mine included. Choosing our manager should be a serious decision. We have Hodgson because of the media - Broughton's own words. I hope everyone at the club is looking at Sky fawning over Tom Hicks' SENSATIONAL interview and resolving never to f***ing listen to those c**** again. The decision on Hodgson is a simple one. Look at his CV. Look at how he's performed. There's no case for keeping him. No case for giving him time - he's never done anything in 35 years of management, he's not going to suddenly up and do something between no and Christmas.
  2. Seriously?
  3. Good owners.
  4. Especially with the media affording him all the time and respect that they've suddenly decided that the manager of Liverpool desewrves.
  5. There's no justification for keeping him until Thursday. Worst start for 57 years before today. He must have set a new record after that.
  6. This from the Telegraph. Who are those supporters? Because I hope they ask Werner for Hodgon's head on a stick.
  7. f***in' hell - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/oct/17/liverpool-roy-hodgson-merseyside-derby
  8. Magnificent balls.
  9. Pass to a red shirt, run forward, and look for the ball? He's just not going to fit in if he carries on like that.
  10. It pisses me off hugely that we moved Gerrard form his slot behind Torres just to avoid playing Aquilani last night. He can't even get a start when we're a central mid short.
  11. We still do, it seems.
  12. --------- Masch Kuyt---Gerrard --Aquilani---Babel --------------Tog
  13. Not disagreeing with you, as such, but we wouldn't have Aquilani if we hadn't sold Keane. So not really 60M wasted. It's more 40M wasted, with 20M of it being wasted twice. Which is possibly even worse.
  14. Babel's been left out of the squad, according to his little internet
  15. SOLD. The boy's a GENIUS
  16. He'll be a like a new signing when he plays tomorrow.
  17. Fellaini would have elbowed him in the ankle.
  18. I could make up a bunch of daft conspiracy theories too. I just don't see it as unreasonable that he hasn't been on in the last three games. He's not used to the pace of the game yet, and throwing him into a derby or the city game would have been a risk - we needed to keep that tight. He's not a holding player, not a tough tackler. Horses for courses. Fiorentina's made for him, a no pressure game against a side he's used to playing. Blackburn are cynical thugs managed by a fat-necked slob, so I can see the sense in not starting him there. But I'd like to see him get half an hour when we're 4-0 up.
  19. Or Rafa has decided against using him in our last three games, for a variety of reasons - Citeh, because we lost the luxury of subs through injuries, Debrecen because of the pitch and the risk of putting a player who's been out for so long into such a volatile situation where a goal could have sent us out of the CL, and Everton, where he didn't want him chucked into one of the most intense, hard paced game we'd play all year. He'll play, and he'll hopefully be pretty good.
  20. We've had no money for two years. Simple as. Can't be surprised that other teams are catching up.
  21. Yeah. He's been keeping his decent hidden.
  22. If he turns out to be 80% as good as gerrard, I'm happy.
  23. When is Elisha going to do a "Aquilani is s*** hot in training" post?
