  1. I really wish that Hernanes link was true, the kid is going to be class.
  2. We were loosely linked to Hernanes from brazil last week, he looked really good playing for brazil in the olympics, was there best player by a mile.
  3. I agree with the above, if we dont get the money we want for him( obviously thats a little inflated in todays market) then dont sell him. We dont need to sell him, we actually need him if we want to win the league next year. Next season, if teams stay the way they are (most likley wont) i think the league is practically in the bag, even with the players we have now. United will not be as strong, Chelsea are not guaranteed to play well under ancelotti, and Arsenal are Arsenal. The key is to keep our squad together, nothing less.
  4. Can i be frank? Ive honestly given some consideration to both Masch and Alonso leaving, and there intentions for wanting to leave. It is plainly obvious that our club are in the best position to win a title that we have been in for 20 years. Is it wrong of me to start hating the both of them if they leave? Are they greedy pricks who have forgotten that they are not only playing for themselves, but for the fans? Do they not owe us the fans at least 1 title before considering other teams? Have we the fans not supported these 2 players, who are absolute pillars and almost irreplaceable when you consider other options on the market in there position? Do we not deserve that chance to reclaim what is rightfully ours?? Alonso, what ever the situation is with him and Rafa (im sure its workable based on last years form), should he not play on for 1 more year at least, give it his all, and prove that he really loves the club like he has claimed of the past 5 seasons? Masch? he is a different kettle of fish, he probably owes Rafa more than anyone for resurrecting his career. I seriously don't understand why either of them would even consider leaving. f*** Barca and Madrid, we are Liverpool and we are bigger than any 1 club on the f***ing planet. I pray that both of these players see the light, do the right thing, and help us achieve what we are almost destined to do next year.
  5. I hear you maldini, but i honestly did not see anything in him that game that would suggest that he has any sort of chance of making in our team. I actually don't see him having a chance of making in the premier league. Its true that i only watched the 2 matches against Arsenal, but if that game is an indication of how he will cope with quick forwards, then he has no chance.
  6. Ayala and Kennedy are bloody s***. Ive never had the chance to watch Kelly or San Hose, no reserve matches are shown here in Australia.
  7. The guy really does have his head on his shoulders doesnt he. A Model footballer, no s***!!
  8. I am honestly disappointed that we are considering letting Xabi leave. Even fort 35m, it still is not something i want to see happen. We need to keep the spine of the team in tact for next season, its our best chance ever to actually win the league.
  9. I found that news about Elias to be strange.
  10. I would not pay that much for Zlatan. He makes Berbatov look like a workhorse. P.S Would be a good thing if Chelsea signed him
  11. Johnson overlapping on the right would be a good thing at Anfield. It would definantly help us open up teams when they sit back.
  12. 18m is alot to pay for a player. The key thing here is that he is a pretty good player and english. Rafa had his plan for a couple more english additions, looks like he does not want to miss out again.
  13. His brother doesnt really look right does he? Love Martin, what you see is what you get with him i believe.

    John McMahon

Things are starting to pickup, NEED SOME ACTION FFS!!
  15. Im not buying into the whole we are SKINT business, but I must admit that this season I am probably more on my edge about who we will sign than ever, we are soo f***ign close to winning it next year I can smell it.
  16. Dave Usher has had it in for Rafa for a while now, all started with the Youth setup and how he claims Rafa is trying to control everything. As for Heinze, we do not need him at all. Would be a complete waste of money because this is not an area we are in desperate need of improving. Plus he would only really make an improve on the defensive side of things. He would also put a dent in our attacking ability's which is something we should look to avoid. If we ended up playing Heinze at LB and Carra at RB at some point next year, then you may as well just write the season off right now.
  17. Hard to put the sentences together, but for some stupid reason i get the impression that this bloke is well schooled in the art of football.
  18. Maldini it should have happened years ago. Be honest with me here and tell me if its been good enough? How many players have been good enough? How many players have gone on and made it somewhere else? I know the job is not easy, but surely should of been producing 1 player for the first team every 3 years? at least?
  19. I beleive that people are forgetting that Rafa will almost definantly buy a 4th CB this year because Sami is leaving. It would have been great to still have Sami there next year, would of saved us some cash cause he is leaving for nothing.
  20. Maldini I agree with the majority of your views on player abilities, but i honestly think your wrong on this one. Rooney isnt that far behind the top top players in the world. He was Uniteds best player this year for me, better than Vidic and co. If he wasnt scoring, he was setting them up. Tevez would improve our team, there is no doubt in my mind about that.
  21. Guys we are all well aware of the fact that the majority of the media have not only been out to get us, but especially Rafa. They all know that Rafa has turned this club into a genuine force again. Ferguson knows this, and everytime Rafa states for the record that Fergie was mates with him before Liverpool were actually good, just shows how shallow Fergie is, anyway.
  22. I have to say, you all put forward some very strong and aggressive arguments LOL I'm done, i have work to do, but I just don't want my opinion to be taken the wrong way. I was not criticizing Rafa, it was merely an opinion on what he could have done differently. Id still support Rafa, no matter what, just like Gerrard, Carra, who ever, it doesn't matter. But it doesn't mean that i cannot be critical of something they do or did wrong.
  23. Would Yossi be 4th then?
  24. Haha yeah, kinda. I know that alot of people on this forum have been following the Reds longer than i have. A I know that some people will feel that Ive got no right to an opinion because im not from Liverpool. But my #1 love in this world, over the past 10 years, has been Liverpool. Even my Mrs comes second, and she knows it. I follow us intensely, and i follow our players, manager, club in general intensely, and i would love nothing more than to see us win the league next year. I just understand thought why people would automatically think that i am not a fan because i felt our manager would of had the upper hand in this argument by doing something he didn't. Still dont understand it.
  25. Why are you blokes going all stupid on me? It was just something that i beleive would have given Rafa another edge over that whiskey nose cockhead. The fact that Rafa doesnt call him Sir is enough of a s*** stir in itself. I just regret that fact that he has given Fergies media budies another chance to have a pot at him. If he had of congratulated Ferguson, and said something along the lines of "I dont beleive i would of had the same well wishes, if the results were the other way around" that still would of given Rafa the upper hand in his battle with Fergie. Some of you guys though being rediculous over all of this, and some of you were even people questioning Rafa over the past few years, when i was one of the people backing him no matter what, so dont start taking these f***ign childish attacks upon me because i had an opinion. I f***ING WAKE UP EVERY MORNING IN MELBOURNE TO WATCH THE REDS!! I f***ING READ 4-5 hours of football news, message boards, and everything else f***ing related to Liverpool, so dont f***ing question me and my loyalty because i had an opinion. f***ing grow up
