I can accept that on 60-65 minutes. However, we started like we were wearing lead boots. Maybe we need to be giving the lads a 5 hour energy drink before kick off, and not a pint of Guinness and a piece of pie. Had we got stuck in for the first 60 minutes and then ran out of juice, I would be fine with that. We hardly competed for 80 minutes.

He has been given starts. However, he's never really showed anything in his starts to suggest he is worthy of a run of games. For me, he's best described as a headless chicken type player, a hothead easily provoked, and a nouseless footballer who doesn't appear to learn from his mistakes. Having said that, I'd probably start him against Everton, just to try and unsettle their back line. Give him 30 minutes and yank him off just after his inevitable yellow card.

Even taking into account the physical tiredness of recent games, you would have expected a rousing start with the players getting tired later on. They had 4 full days without a game, yet started like they'd played a full game the night before. A lad I spoke to this evening ( not a big football fan in any way) said that he thought some of our players looked like they weren't interested in, or capable of, running around in the first half. We need some cry offs for this break, or the players will come back even more knackered. Plus, I don't want to see any of our players giving more than 50% in any internationals.

No it's not. It's full of people who are pissed off at the performance they saw today. On the heels of a defeat in the CL. Everyone is entitled to be fed up after watching that game. Come the next game, today is put aside and we hope for a win against Everton.

Another game where we have not started with any kind of drive. I can understand being tired after 65-75 minutes, but starting a game looking like you were on the ale all night and had no sleep is f***ing pathetic. Manager needs to sort this out. Yes, there's an international break, but most of these players will be off playing, and training every f***ing day. Slot needs some dodgy injuries to show up.
