Then straight out the door would be carra, i mean counting own goals hes probably on minus goals now. Finnan would follow i think. Keep hyypia though, he scores a few. Agger scored a cracker once aswell so he stays. Mascherano should go, hes not scored or assisted. Get a f***ing grip. Alonso is one of the best midfieidlers in the world, hes been f***ing injured for most of the season, a contributing factor to our lack of form ffs. And as for all of the pennnant stick. The guy early on in the season was one of if not our best player, his form tailed alot in his last few games before injury, but remember the lad was aparently playing with an innury for a while. Hes another of these players people have allready made their mind up about and just like andy grey and co when harping on about s**** (rotation, zonal marking, gerrard in the middle, rafa lucky etc), you all want to be proven right instead of letting your opinions actually be changed by the play. Nobody has said hes not made mistakes, as all managers do but anyone who thinks mourinho could ocme in and wave a magic wand without millions to spend and with alot of first teamers wanting out is more deluded than those who think xabi isnt very good because he doesnt score many goals.

Back in the 80s and early 90s before the game got silly, anyone had a chance of winning the league with a few good signings , half decent manager and a bit of luck. Now, the big teams get richer and stronger and the rest just drop off. Thats why as biased as it sounds i dont think you can compare unites dominance in the 90s to ours in the 70s and 80s. And also why i dont think you can compare fergie taking over a team 2nd from bottom to rafa taking over a team 4th, as you could arguably say that team 2nd from bottom was closer to challenging than the team we had in 4th. Rambling now but im sure someone will make snese of that.

You make a cracking point about david dien. There is no comparrison between the stability , competence and backing wenger had from dien and the lack of it rafa has had from parry.
