Has our UEFA Cup, FA Cup, League Cup Treble disappeared into the mists of time? Did we really win it? Have the media brushed it away? You'd think, listening to sky, that the only history happened within the last year! That was a fabulous season, Went to almost all home games and a lot of away games and enjoyed the success more than any other season I've ever enjoyed since '72.

The winning of a title on goal difference would be acceptable to us if we were in that position. However, I would expect a lot of grief from the team we pipped when we next played them. I would live with it.

When you're ahead of us on League titles AND European trophies I'll concede you as the most succesful. Not yet. Arrogance comes in many forms, yours is just one of them.

There will be fewer still English quality players in the fiture. Kids now don't play footie they way they did years ago. Every kid in my street when I was a boy used to join in the daily kickabout. That just hardly happens now, then it was universal. There will be an ever-dwindling supply as our kids do something else: WII or Xbox, basketball or sit on their obese backsides.

I used to buy most of the fanzines. Made me depressed, so I stopped. The funnies don't outweigh the doom-mongering.

What about some of the pens we've been awarded? Perfect example was the Gary Mac at Sunderland a few years ago? The disallowed goal CFC got against us? There are loads of examples of us being lucky..ask the supporters of any other PL team.

If Mongewell is a Manc/Toffee, then he's partly succeeded because he's got the attention he craves. If he isn't you've all put him off posting again, fearing a lynch mob against any view we don't all concur with. Some forum. Or do you think differently?
