The 'L' thing's been done to death. I pointed it out months ago on RAWK and it has been brought up many times since. I believe the artist was thinking of some kind of see-through scarf (although it looks like a fairly solid scarf to me). I understand the final design will see the L 'righted.'

I'm surprised to learn he was/is a striker. He just seems to fit so naturally into the midfield. I've also seen nothing as yet to suggest the lad's got a decent shot on him. Nice to know we can shove him up front if neccessary.

I saw Raul being shepherded into the Executive and Officials doors half an hour before kick off. If Nando hadn't have been looking the business over the past few weeks I'd have suggested he was just putting in the extra effort to impress his bessie mate .

Quite right. As I've been living in Oz for a few years I only get to a game every couple of seasons. I've not enjoyed a game at Anfield as much as yesterday since the early 90s. Superb stuff - a real joy to watch. Posts merged: My mate wasn't paying attention when Crouch did that. It was such a bizarre bit of play that I couldn't even describe properly what he did.

It also helped that for 60 minutes we played against a "defence" seemingly determined that we should have as much of the ball as possible. That Titus Bramble was only the second worst defender on the pitch was a pretty poor indictment of Boumsong. £8.5M - you're having a laugh, surely?
