Fwiw I don't think Klopp wants to sell him but the world doesn't end if he goes. The biggest imo is that we cannot close a deal, think a player is worth 60m and their club want 70m, we move in small increments to their value which simply pisses off selling club. Sorry to be vague before player has spoke with club, he wants the move they are at odds over why he signed new deal if he wanted to go, he wants to go because it's Barca. s*** hitting fan is Klopp and Board as the former thinks that no one is irreplaceable but time is needed and we are going into a season with high hopes but not enough personnel. Klopp seems to view players as replaceable but not exact clones, so where Coutinho could be replaced by Keita the whole team would dynamic would change and to get it to work all players need to adapt. Some strange things going on and the way FSG approach football is not how others approach football, profit isn't important but overall club value is and players are assets. Coutinho is worth 130m now if he helped provide 4 league trophies and was sold for 50m in 5 years that would be worth more to FSG. Am not doing this for fun, I just happen to be in a loop.
