I thought that he made some decent movement today that wasn't always utilised by his team mates. For example, when Gerrard went over in the box the first time. Babel had taken up a good position in the centre forward position unmarked. If Gerrard had played the ball through to him he would have been one on one. I also think he looks more composed on the ball, less nervous, especially with his passing. He's no left sided player though for all the reasons highlighted. I would like to see him in a central or right sided role and someone bought for that role on the left during the summer.

Nemeth should be in for sure. Voronin looked like a fat old geezer at Arsenal who was pushing himself to run as much as possible to diminish the embarassment that he caused by being on the pitch and....f***ing up. If things are not going your way, you don't suddenly think, "Voronin".

They started to talk about him placing a flag in the centre circle and fans coming after him I think at Fenerbache. Can someone tell the story? I sat watching him with Keys and Strachan and thought: FEAR. He has a real presence.

Mascherano was always going to be sent off acting in that way. He told the ref to f*** off a few times and even though he may only have asked a question before being sent off, he could not be restrained by Alonso, despite Alonso not trying too hard. I think that Gerrard likes his England pals like Scholes (who he was chatting to in the tunnel) and Lampard and when we play these teams he has no edge because of it, whereas they do. I am pleased that Javier wants to tear that club a new one so badly. We need to stop messing around and make him captain.

Ashley Cole indeed. I watched the Sky highlights of Spurs -V- Chelsea last night. I forgot what a complete and utter s*** bag this geezer is. Can someone tell me if he has got worse since joining that filthy club? Lampard. The hate I felt for that c***. Chelsea score and he runs up to the Chelsea "fans" and starts screaming swearwords whilst giving it the big one. It was so wrong and he does it every time. We should spend the Hicks fortune on the Chelsea youth side that made the youth cup final so that we can save their souls before its too late.

I'll defer to Big stuff and his effort to bring sense to the football aspects. My angle is really about you. OK, you like Alonso, which is fine. Babel Gerrard Skirtel

I would just like to say that I am happy to stay with YNWA.TV and will give my all over the next four years. I knew, when I arrived here, that this is where I wanted to ply my trade. I had a terrible first few months in forum land on the LIVERPOOLWAY, constantly being ignored and overlooked, but I am delighted that I was able to take my chance and excel on a bigger stage. I'd like to see Xabi replaced by a central player who is mobile and can score goals. I'll keep my eye on Johnson as some of you have put him forward. Diego is a player I like. Aiden Mcgeady? Looks good but again I haven't seen enough. I trust Masch with covering the defence and I can't wait to see Agger and Skirtl competing with Carra and the great Sami. Further forward, I'd like to see a creative force for the final third and in the final third to compliment Stevie and Support Torres.

I think that your picture of Xabi is different to the reality. Xabi didn't exactly improve things drastically against Barnsley and he was at fault for the last minute winner.

He is 'our' goldenboy, surely? He plays for Liverpool afterall. What are the stats on this 'goldenboy' making your top 3 this season? Has he never been in the top three or does an arguement about ability outweigh your desire to provide a realistic assessment? Does that strengthen or weaken your arguement, do you think?
