The issue I have and it has been touched on by a few people in this thread is that regardless of the players being motivated they dont look like they know what they should be doing, football has moved on from go out there and play. Today was the same as we have been all season, some good approach play with little or no real end product, much as per previous games we didnt test the keeper (more than a few times), we were too static and once again there was no one in the box to get on the end of a cross or knockdown from Carroll. Maybe you can blame it on motivation today but what about almost every other home game this season? Rant over
