Mancini is class and his versatility is exactly what we need. Who can play all of right back, right flank and left blank? I don't think any player in the world does that. He can score goals as well. I'd take him in a heartbeat. The fact he can play both wings will also confuse the other top clubs who our next target is

where is the Porto story? I can see us going for Eto'o up to 45m pounds. If you consider Sissoko, Bellamy and Cisse will probably bring in at least 25m, Hicks and Gillet won't have any qualms spending 20m on Eto'o. It would be good business for players that have fallen out of favour over the last little while. Add in one Malouda/Mancini/Simao (15m, max 20m pounds) and Alves (20m pounds) and there's our starting 11 for next season and there's your 100m euros with about 8m pounds left to spend on a backup keeper and Parry's vacation.
