Is right. He quite often didnt make the bench for us. If Rafa isnt going to play him, but rates him for the future, he may aswell send him out for experience. He wotn get much staying at a club he doesnt get games for.

Hes often not even on the bench for us. personally i think hes a better option than Cisse at the minute. But if Rafa isnt going to give him games then its better for him and us that he gains experience elsewhere.

He will. He looked pretty decent coming on as sub against the mancs. OK it was against 10 men, but he was far from fitness then. Get him into the best shape possible and he has a lot to offer from the bench. A lot more than Morientes, a lot more than Cisse. If it doesnt work? Well hes gone in 6 months and cost a little drop in wages. I dont see the risk. Its also great to have a fans favourite back. To have someone who really loves the club. To have a legend back. How can you not be a little bit excited by this??

Ive said it before that Rafa did well to stick with him. Most managers would have got shot of him. Rafa knew the type of player he was and stuck with him and worked hard with him.

To be fair we were all saying how great it was that we were still going ahead with the deal. Thought it was a good thing that both sides stuck to the agreement. Remember a lot of us were fearful Cisse wouldnt come if GH left.

I would add to the the great cross for JAR, when Cisse, to be fair, got up between 2 united players, but for some reason turned his back on it and attacked the ball with the back of his head. I know this thread sounds knee kerk and scape goatish, but its been coming for a while with Cisse. Some people have been saying it for weeks and months. But when you cant even put the effort in against united you are not going to win those fans back.
