In a creative sense he doesn't. Ok, no vision is probably overstating it, but you have to be blind not to see that vision/creativity is something where Javier is lacking a bit. We always struggle when he's the one taking the responsibility of a "playmaker" for want of a better word. When he has the ball in the opposing half and runs out of options, he often just blasts it 5 metres wide, whereas someone like Alonso would give it to a teammate, move get it back etc. an carve out openings that way. Stevie often shoots as well, but then he can score from anywhere, so that's understandable. He also doesn't have any attacking responsibilities for Argentina due to his role and capabilities.
