The others appear to be well out of the race , enter the only obvious alternatives to ourselves......if he is going to leave, they desperately want an auction for VvD, at present it seems to only us in the race, although as it stands we aren't even supposed to be in that race. Still think we will get him though.

There are ludicrous amounts of money being split up in the premier league at present, everyone wants their share, these transfers are just another element of this. we have plenty of money available for the players we are after, let's hope we get them

A lot of the figures within our deals do come from our side, which I personally think we really shouldn't do, but not every bit of info out there us down to us, the others clubs also have ppl who like to chat and leak bits of info too.

Where do think the random figure of 70m has appeared from? Blind man on a galloping horse can see that's the sort of money they want.

We all realise we don't want to pay any more than we have to but the money is there to pay it, so if we bid a lower amount and they turn it down, so be it, but if we are serious then we go back in with a better offer. We have known the figures required to get him, if we don't bid those sorts of figures now, we will look inept.

The figures are huge, but we can afford them, the money is there, the player wants to come, JK wants the players, if we are serious we will bid a serious figure which we least gets Leipzig interested enough to bring them to the table, we all know they want 70m basically, we have to bid something very close to that, if we don't, there is and was no point to get involved.

Whether we get him or not it is what you would expect them to say, "we don't want to sell" that way either they keep a star player or they play hard with their negotiations and try to get as much as they possibly can. Seeing as he is widely said to have a clause allowing him to move next summer for 48m (I think) if they upset the player, his standard drops for a season then he moves for a lot less than they could get now and move on.

None of us truly know what JK's plans are. Does he see Keita as a replacement for Henderson or Can? We have signed Salah, will he start with Mane mainly as our wide attackers? Meaning Coutinho can be utilised deeper? Does he see it more of a better quality squad, which means we don't have to rely on the likes of Stewart etc..... Keita.......Henderson.....Coutinho Wijnaldum...Can............Lallana I feel that JK has improved our transfer efforts, we seem to be signing better players generally.

What about Firmino?

Ings has had two horrendous injuries, what he needs now is the opportunity to regain fitness and form. That will best come through training and regular games, I think he would best be served heading out on loan for a season to a club where he can play a lot more regularly.

Would have.....Could have....should have.... Wether we like what happen before now or not we can't change any of it, the only thing that can change things is learning from your mistakes and yes we have made plenty of mistakes before now but I think there are genuine signs we are improving, hopefully by the time the new season starts we will have progressed further and improved our chances a lot.

I imagine players agents are happier to do deals for four year contracts as they can get more pay days, they look after themselves first.
